Conserving the Biodiversity of Ontario’s Great Lakes Region

The NCC works to preserve biological diversity across Canada. On behalf of the Ontario Region of the NCC, we designed a brochure that highlights the unique natural diversity of Ontario’s Great Lakes region and the initiatives to protect and preserve it.

For maximum impact we created this brochure oversize (10in x 13in), with significant room for photos. On all of the interior spreads large photos span across the pages showcasing Ontario’s diversity, such as: an old growth canopy, a savanna, lake coves and northern islands. We created earth-toned colour blocks to flank these large images and place close-ups of threatened species, conservation highlights and contributor quotes. The result is a beautiful brochure that inspires care for Ontario’s Great Lakes region.
