Directors Annual Report 2012

The WRDSB Directors Annual Report (2012) provides a summary of staff and student accomplishments within the Waterloo Region.

To convey friendliness and warmth in the report, we extended the colour palette to include vibrant complementary colours, in addition to the WRDSB blue. These complementary colours were applied as solid backgrounds and screens to differentiate the main sections and to visually break up the extensive bar graphs. In many cases, we used icons to add a visual dynamic to plain facts and statistics.

We also carried the pencil concept from the cover into the body of the report by translating the pencil into a cohesive info-graphic and by adding line details around the images to resemble pencil lines. The images themselves were sourced for ethnic and age diversity.
